Zooaventuras is an immersive educational project developed for interactive experiences inside Chapultepec Zoo, focused on enhancing the Shark Room through multimedia solutions. The proposal combined 3D modeling, animation, motion graphics, and augmented reality concepts to create a more dynamic visitor experience. Developed in collaboration with a university partner as both a professional internship and final degree project, it received Honorable Mention.
Focused on the conceptualization and development of immersive multimedia content designed to complement existing physical exhibits rather than replace them. Created in collaboration with a fellow multimedia design student, the work combined research, creative direction, and production strategies to translate scientific information into accessible experiences through 3D modeling, animation, and visual storytelling within a real exhibition context and educational environment.
Developed as part of a final professional internship and degree project, the process included research into immersive technologies, interactive projection possibilities, and augmented reality applications to explore how digital layers could enhance visitor engagement. The project strengthened multidisciplinary design skills, combining spatial thinking, multimedia production, and user-centered educational approaches while earning Honorable Mention for its innovation and execution quality.
